What You Do as Google Techmaker Ambsassor
As a Google Techmaker ambassador, you will engage in the following activities:
Organize Events
Organize a gathering, a dynamic discussion, or celebrate International Women’s Day by creating an event that serves to enlighten, unite, and motivate those in your technology circle.
This is an opportunity to foster learning, build networks, and empower individuals within the tech industry through meaningful engagement.
Deliver Talks
Leverage your knowledge on a diverse range of subjects. Past representatives have imparted insights on Google’s tech innovations, initiatives in diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as strategies for maintaining wellness, among other topics.
Create Resource
Creating engaging content like videos, crafting unique code snippets, or authoring informative blog posts are excellent ways to disseminate knowledge within a community.
These methods not only allow for the sharing of expertise and insights but also encourage collaboration and learning among peers. By contributing such resources, individuals can foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation, which is invaluable in any knowledge-driven community.

Eligibility for the Google Women Techmakers Ambassador Program
Eligibility and responsibilities for the application include:
- Being at least 18 years of age
- Active engagement in the technology community
- At least one year’s experience in activities such as event organization, public speaking, creating content like blogs or videos, or mentorship
- A strong interest in improving skills, especially in Google technologies
- Commitment to spend at least 10 hours every quarter on community activities
- Execution of various community-related tasks throughout the year.
- Other responsibilities include:
- Adherence to program guidelines
- Commitment to Google’s mission
- Organizing an activity at least once in a quarter
- Participating in program development sessions.
